Our weekend event is taking place in the very special location in collaboration with Cerdeira - Home for Creativity.
Cerdeira - Home for Creativity is a rural tourism space closely linked to artistic creation and training, located in Serra da Lousã, about 37 km from Coimbra, Portugal. It has 9 renovated schist houses and a set of infrastructure and workspaces
& Venue
Each house is pretty spatial, has bedrooms, batroom and kitchen and can comfortably host two independent participants.
This is unique opportunity to experince local vernacular architecture restored and charged with passion, the result of hard work of people who pursued their dream of creating such a space ad saving the heritage.
Another point of interest is the neighbouring “village of rouines” where the owners are about to launch new exiting project already comissioned to one of the world most famous architect — if we are lucky we might get a glimpse of it from them directly.
Accomodation and the meals during the programm are included in the package.
The best way to come from abroad is to fly to Porto or Lisboa.
There is no public transport directly to Cerdeira, but a taxi can be booked from Coimbra.
Private transfer can be booked from the airport/centre of Lisbon and Porto straight to Cerdeira
Beyond that the area has some other attractions and it is recomended to come and visit by car.
Parking is at the entrance of the village.
N.B. Inside the village there is no car traffic
